Conflicts Lawyer

We’re working with a fabulous US law firm who are looking to appoint a Risk & Compliance Lawyer to join their London team.
This is a great opportunity for a qualified lawyer with experience across conflicts, new business intake, legal risk or compliance to take on a broad advisory role within a highly established international firm.
The role?
You’ll sit within the New Business & Conflicts team, working closely with the Office of General Counsel and senior stakeholders across the firm.
- Analysing and resolving complex conflicts of interest across new business and lateral hires
- Advising lawyers on conflicts, ethics and professional conduct
- Reviewing and advising on terms of engagement
- Drafting waivers and establishing ethical walls
- Supporting the firm's wider risk management and compliance activities
- Providing training on professional conduct, risk and compliance policies
- Keeping up to date with regulatory and legal developments affecting conflicts and new business
- Working on wider OGC and firm-wide projects
About you?
Admitted to practise in England & Wales
A qualified lawyer with 3+ years' relevant experience
Experienced in law firm conflicts / new business intake / OGC / legal risk
A strong legal researcher with excellent analytical and decision-making skills
Confident advising and working with lawyers and senior stakeholders
Highly organised, commercially aware and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Experience with Intapp Conflicts, Intake, Terms or Walls would be highly advantageous.
