We're working with a brilliant leading international law firm who are looking to add a Risk & Compliance Officer into their growing compliance function in London.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience across AML, client due diligence, matter inception and regulatory compliance to join a highly regarded global team and play a key role in supporting lawyers and business services teams across multiple jurisdictions.
The role?
- Supporting client and matter onboarding processes
- Conducting AML checks, reviewing KYC documentation and sanctions screening
- Advising on risk assessments and ongoing monitoring requirements
- Maintaining accurate matter information and compliance records
- Supporting information barriers and confidentiality processes
- Assisting with compliance reporting, audits and internal projects
- Working closely with Risk Lawyers, Conflicts and wider business teams
About you?
- 2+ years' experience within a compliance function in a regulated environment (ideally within a law firm)
- Strong AML / KYC experience
- Understanding of regulatory compliance frameworks
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication skills and confidence working with senior stakeholders
A legal background (Law Degree/GDL or legal experience) would be advantageous, but the key focus is finding someone with strong risk and compliance experience who can add value from day one.
