Commercial Solicitor / Legal Counsel Lincolnshire | Newly Qualified (NQ) – 4 PQE An opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Solicitor / Legal Counsel to join a growing business based in Lincolnshire.

The role would suit a commercially minded solicitor with between NQ – 4 years' PQE who is looking to move in-house and develop their career within an entrepreneurial and expanding business.

You will have a strong grounding in commercial contracts, together with some experience or interest in intellectual property, licensing, technology or content-related matters.

The role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior legal professionals and the wider business, gaining genuine breadth of in-house experience.

The Company Our client is an established and growing business with operations across a number of markets.

The business develops and delivers its own products and services and works with a range of established customers, suppliers and commercial partners.

The legal team is involved in a broad range of matters, including commercial contracts, intellectual property, licensing, technology and regulatory issues, providing a varied workload for someone looking to develop their in-house experience.

The company is continuing to grow and invest in the business, creating an opportunity for an additional lawyer to join the legal function at an interesting stage of its development.

About the Role Working closely with the GC, you will have the opportunity to become involved in a broad range of commercial and legal matters.

Your responsibilities will include: Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements with customers, suppliers, technology providers and other commercial partners.

Working on licensing agreements, including matters relating to intellectual property and technology.

Supporting the business on IP matters, including the licensing and commercial exploitation of intellectual property.

Providing practical, commercially focused legal advice to stakeholders across the business.

Supporting on regulatory and compliance matters relevant to the business.

Dealing with a variety of ad hoc legal issues within a fast-moving business.

Working closely with senior management and other stakeholders to identify and manage legal and commercial risk.

A strong commercial contracts background would be important, with exposure to IP, licensing, technology or other related matters particularly relevant.

About You The role would suit a solicitor who: Is a qualified solicitor in England & Wales, ideally with around 2–4 years' PQE.

Has a solid grounding in commercial contract drafting and negotiation.

Has some experience or interest in IP, licensing, technology or related commercial matters.

Is commercially minded and able to provide practical advice to the business.

Enjoys working closely with non-legal stakeholders and understanding the commercial context behind the legal issues.

Is keen to develop their career in-house and broaden their experience across a range of legal matters.
