Job Title: Legal Secretary
Location: Cambridge
Salary: £24k-£25k
Our client is seeking a candidate with a secretarial background to join their Employment and Corporate / Commercial / Banking team in Cambridge as a Legal Secretary.
This role would be suitable for someone who is currently working as a Secretary, Junior Paralegal, PA or any similar position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reformat and organize documents, including numbering and inserting documents.
- Adapt to new systems and ways of working as needed.
- Manage team diaries and coordinate schedules.
- Handle expense management and assist with billing clients, including preparing WIP summaries and billing schedules.
- Support with file opening, closing, and administration tasks.
- Prepare hard copy and electronic bundles for employment tribunals and ensure their distribution.
- Liaise with clients and Counsel Clerks regarding case management and billing.
- Create hard copy documents for the CCB and other administrative needs.
- Perform light typing duties, including letters and attendance notes.
- Carry out general PA tasks to support the team.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Results-driven and detail-focused.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- A proactive team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Motivated and eager to learn and grow.
- Previous experience in a law firm is an advantage but not essential.
