\\nThe Role: In-House Legal Counsel As Legal Counsel, you will provide practical, commercial legal advice across a wide range of business-critical matters, supporting key stakeholders and helping to manage legal and regulatory risk.

- Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts and legal documentation

- Partner with internal stakeholders to deliver pragmatic legal solutions
- Interpret and explain complex legal and regulatory issues in a business-friendly way
- Monitor and advise on changes in legislation and regulation affecting financial services

Candidate Profile You will ideally have:

- Qualification as a Solicitor in England & Wales
- 4+ years’ PQE (applications outside this range are welcome where relevant experience is demonstrated)
- Experience in financial services, particularly mortgage lending and/or consumer credit
- Strong knowledge of financial services regulation
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- A commercial, solutions-driven mindset
- Experience gained in a reputable law firm and/or a high-quality in-house legal team
