An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated Legal Administrator to join a busy and successful Residential Property team based in Newcastle. This is a varied and fast-paced role supporting fee earners within the Investment Property team, providing high-quality administrative and secretarial support across a range of residential property matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Opening and closing files using the practice management system
  • Carrying out ID checks, AML searches, media checks and conflict searches
  • Preparing legal documentation including leases, contracts and epitomes of title
  • Producing invoices, completion statements, paying-in slips and payment requisitions
  • Liaising with clients and other law firms professionally and efficiently
  • Supporting the wider team with general administrative duties

About You:

  • Previous experience working as a Legal Administrator or Legal Secretary within Residential Property or a similar legal environment
  • Experience using case management systems
  • Strong IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and databases
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
  • Ability to prioritise workload effectively in a busy environment
