A busy and expanding Crime team in Leeds is seeking a Criminal Law Paralegal to join on a permanent, full-time basis. This is a great opportunity for someone with a genuine interest in criminal law who is looking to develop their career within a supportive and well-established team.
The role will involve:
- Supporting fee earners on criminal matters
- Providing a high standard of client care
- Managing files via a case management system, including drafting correspondence
- Completing public funding applications
- Preparing, collating and redacting court bundles
- Liaising with Courts, Police, local authorities, medical professionals and experts
The ideal candidate will:
- Have completed or be undertaking legal studies (LPC/BPC, SQE prep or equivalent)
- Demonstrate a clear interest in Criminal Law
- Hold Police Station Accreditation (preferred)
- Be highly organised and able to work well under pressure
