We're currently working with one of the world's leading law firms, looking to add to their risk and compliance function. You’ll work as part of an experienced team that manages complex conflict checks and regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions. You’ll gain exposure to high-profile, international matters and work with colleagues and stakeholders across the UK, Europe, Middle East and beyond. The Role:
- Run and clear conflict checks for client work across multiple countries.
- Spot any potential legal or commercial conflicts and help the business resolve them.
- Be the go-to person for partners and lawyers when they need advice on conflicts.
- Work closely with the Client Terms Team on bespoke client agreements.
- Keep compliance systems up to date and pitch in on team projects.
About you:
- Experience doing conflict checks and confidentiality work — ideally at a law firm, but open to other professional/financial services too.
- Good knowledge of UK regulations (SRA, Law Society rules, etc.) — or keen to learn.
- Confident communicator who’s comfortable talking to senior stakeholders.
- Organised, proactive and calm under pressure.
