Where you qualify matters.
Who you learn from matters even more.
Not every NQ role is created equal.
Some firms will hand you a caseload and expect you to figure it out.
Others invest properly in their junior lawyers, giving them the confidence, exposure and support to become exceptional employment solicitors.
This opportunity falls firmly into the second category.
A highly regarded UK law firm is looking to appoint a Newly Qualified Employment Solicitor to join its Scottish team.
You'll work directly with one of Scotland's most respected Employment Partners—a lawyer recognised not only for delivering outstanding work, but for developing talented junior lawyers into trusted advisers.
From your first day as an NQ, you'll be involved in meaningful work rather than watching from the sidelines.
The team advises employers and senior executives on everything from Employment Tribunal litigation and discrimination claims to TUPE, restructures, restrictive covenants and complex workplace investigations.
You'll build experience across both contentious and advisory matters, developing the breadth that defines the strongest employment lawyers.
What really sets this role apart is the level of responsibility you'll earn.
As your confidence grows, you'll take ownership of your own files, work directly with clients and become a valued member of a close-knit, collaborative team—all with experienced lawyers on hand to challenge, support and develop you.
