A well-established legal practice is seeking an Employment Associate to join its Birmingham team. The role offers the opportunity to work on a varied mix of advisory and contentious employment matters for employer clients across a range of sectors.

The successful candidate will advise on workplace issues including disciplinaries, grievances, restructures and redundancies, manage respondent-side Employment Tribunal claims, and support employment aspects of corporate transactions, TUPE and outsourcing matters. The role will also involve drafting employment contracts, policies and settlement agreements, and working collaboratively as part of a wider national employment team.

Applicants should be qualified solicitors with at least two years' post-qualification experience in employment law. Previous experience in a commercial legal environment is essential. Strong communication skills, a practical approach and the ability to work effectively within a team are required.
