Job Description

Careers often change because of the person you work for, not just the firm you work at.

Applying for this role is straight forward Scroll down and click on Apply to be considered for this position.

Some roles offer better work.

Others offer better prospects.

This opportunity offers both.

QED Legal is delighted to be working with a highly respected Scottish law firm seeking an ambitious Employment Solicitor to join its growing Glasgow office.

This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer with around two to five years' post-qualification experience who is looking to deepen their expertise, work with an exceptional client base and continue building a long-term career in employment law.

The role will see you advising employers on a broad mix of contentious and non-contentious employment matters.

You'll become involved in workplace disputes, disciplinary and grievance issues, restructuring and redundancy exercises, TUPE, Employment Tribunal litigation, drafting contracts and policies, as well as delivering practical, commercial advice that clients genuinely value.

The variety of work means no two weeks look the same, allowing you to develop into a genuinely well-rounded employment lawyer.

You'll enjoy significant client exposure from the outset, working closely with businesses across a range of sectors while taking increasing responsibility for your own matters.

This is a team that trusts its lawyers, encourages initiative and provides the support needed to continue progressing.

The real differentiator, however, is the opportunity to work alongside one of Scotland's most respected employment law Partners.

Careers are often shaped by the people who mentor you, and this role offers the chance to learn directly from a lawyer who has become one of the most visible and influential figures in the Scottish employment market.

For an ambitious solicitor hoping to establish a first-class reputation in employment law, there are very few opportunities that offer this level of day-to-day exposure and mentorship.

Equally important is the culture.

You'll be joining a collaborative, welcoming team where knowledge is shared freely, achievements are recognised and progression is based on ability rather than politics.

Whether your ambitions are to become a recognised specialist, develop your own client following or ultimately progress into senior leadership, you'll be given every opportunity to do so.

If you're an Employment Solicitor in Glasgow with between two and five years' PQE and you're ready for a move that could genuinely accelerate your career, we'd love to have a confidential conversation.

To find out more, please contact Neil Campbell at QED Legal.

Every enquiry will be treated in the strictest confidence. xwwtmva
