For construction lawyers seeking sophisticated projects work without relocating to London, this opportunity offers the chance to build a career within a highly regarded international practice while remaining firmly based in Edinburgh. A leading global law firm is looking to appoint a 1–3 PQE Non-Contentious Construction Associate to join its established projects and construction team in Edinburgh. Known for advising on some of the most significant development and infrastructure mandates in the market, the team delivers commercially focused advice to an impressive portfolio of clients spanning the UK and overseas.
The practice advises a broad range of stakeholders involved in major projects, including developers, investors, contractors, funders, public bodies and specialist consultants. With strong links to City work and an integrated international platform, the team is regularly involved in complex and high-value matters that carry both domestic and cross-border elements.
This role offers exposure to a varied and engaging workload across sectors such as real estate development, energy, transport and infrastructure. You will advise on the full spectrum of non-contentious construction matters, including drafting and negotiating building contracts, consultant appointments, collateral warranties, guarantees and wider project documentation, while supporting clients through the structuring and delivery of major developments.

The team environment is collegiate and ambitious, with a genuine emphasis on mentoring and professional development.
