Conflicts Analyst

We're working with a very well regarded national law firm that is looking to add an experienced Conflicts Analyst to its growing Risk & Compliance team in Edinburgh.
This is an excellent opportunity to move beyond routine conflict checking and become involved in more complex, commercially sensitive matters. You’ll work closely with lawyers and partners, helping the firm navigate potential conflicts while balancing regulatory requirements with excellent client service.
The role?
- Conducting conflict checks for new clients and matters
- Reviewing and analysing complex search results
- Identifying potential legal and commercial conflicts
- Working directly with lawyers and partners to resolve conflicts issues
- Providing clear, practical guidance to stakeholders across the firm
- Supporting the development of conflicts processes and systems
- Sharing knowledge and mentoring more junior members of the team
- Building your expertise and becoming a trusted conflicts specialist within the firm
About you?
- Previous conflicts experience within a commercial law firm (NEEDED)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Sound commercial judgement and the ability to assess risk effectively
- Confidence communicating with stakeholders at all levels
- The ability to manage competing priorities and complex workloads
- A collaborative and solutions-focused approach
Experience using Intapp and Security Policy Manager would be advantageous, but it isn’t essential
