Commercial & Civil Litigation Solicitor, NQ, Worcester, Hybrid Working, Leading Regional Firm
Are you a newly qualified Solicitor looking to build your career in litigation within a sizeable team where you can gain exposure to a genuinely broad range of disputes?
This is an excellent opportunity to join the Dispute Resolution department of a leading regional law firm, offering quality work, experienced lawyers around you and plenty of scope to develop your litigation experience.
The Firm
A large and established regional law firm with a strong presence across the West Midlands and surrounding counties.
The firm offers the quality of work, resources and progression opportunities associated with a much larger practice, while retaining the accessibility and supportive environment of an established regional firm.
You'll join a highly regarded Dispute Resolution department with experienced litigators across a range of contentious specialisms.
The Role
Based in Worcester with hybrid working available, you will advise both individuals and businesses across a varied mix of civil and commercial disputes.
Your caseload will include matters such as:
- General civil and commercial disputes
- Professional negligence claims
- Boundary, easement and rights of way disputes
- Private nuisance and Party Wall Act matters
- TOLATA claims
- Defamation matters
You will have the opportunity to run matters from initial instruction through to resolution, while working closely with and learning from experienced lawyers within the wider team.
You'll also be encouraged to develop your own client relationships and become involved in business development as your career progresses.
You
This role would suit a newly qualified Solicitor who wants to develop into a well-rounded litigator rather than specialising too narrowly at the beginning of their career.
You will need to be a qualified Solicitor with some previous exposure to civil or commercial dispute resolution, whether that experience has been gained before or after qualification.
You should be comfortable dealing directly with clients, have strong written and verbal communication skills and be able to manage competing deadlines effectively.
Most importantly, you'll have a genuine interest in litigation and want to continue developing your technical ability within an experienced team.
If you've recently qualified and want a role where you'll be given your own responsibility without being left to figure everything out yourself, this could be an excellent next step.
Benefits
- Hybrid and flexible working
- Annual profit share
- 28 days' annual leave plus
