Dispute Resolution Solicitor | Broad Civil Litigation | 1–3 PQE Β£40,000–£55,000 | Newcastle upon Tyne Not every 1–3 PQE Dispute Resolution role gives you the chance to get your hands on such a broad range of work.

This one does.

An established Newcastle firm is looking to add a Dispute Resolution Solicitor at 1–3 PQE, with a caseload that covers considerably more than the usual run of the mill civil litigation.

The work includes commercial and residential property disputes, partnership disputes, TOLATA, professional negligence, inheritance and IPFDA claims and contractual disputes.

So if you've built a decent grounding in general litigation and want to broaden rather than specialise too early, there's plenty here to get your teeth into.

You'll have your own caseload appropriate to your level, whilst working closely with the Managing Director for supervision and support on the more involved matters.

That means getting exposure to the full litigation process – advising clients, developing strategy, drafting pleadings and court documents, researching points of law, dealing with opponents and third parties and attending Court where appropriate.

They're looking for a qualified Solicitor with 1–3 years' PQE and genuine experience in Dispute Resolution / Civil Litigation.

You don't need to be an accomplished advocate already.

Advocacy experience would be useful, but the bigger requirement is someone who can demonstrate good technical foundations, strong drafting and a sensible approach to client work – and who wants to keep developing.

There's also scope to take on increasing responsibility as your experience grows, rather than simply inheriting somebody else's caseload and being left to get on with it.

Newcastle upon Tyne | 1–3 PQE | Competitive salary depending on experience If you're a junior Dispute Resolution Solicitor in Newcastle who wants variety, supervision and the opportunity to develop a genuinely broad litigation practice, this is one I'd be happy to talk through confidentially.
