The Opportunity Our client is expanding their thriving Credit Hire team and is seeking experienced Litigation Solicitors or Fee Earners to handle a wide range of credit hire claims. Key Responsibilities In this role, you’ll be responsible for:
- Managing a caseload of litigated fast track and multi-track credit hire cases, under supervision.
- Handling a mix of liability-admitted and disputed cases.
- Ensuring compliance with court directions, orders, and internal instructions in a timely manner.
- Providing regular updates to credit hire companies and maintaining strong working relationships with them.
- Progressing cases efficiently from the commencement of proceedings to trial.
- Negotiating and settling cases to achieve the best possible outcomes.
- Utilising case management and diary systems effectively.
What We’re Looking For To excel in this role, you’ll need:
- Essential experience : A solid background in credit hire litigation, including handling a full caseload of RTA claims.
- Comprehensive knowledge of case law, the MOJ protocol, pre-action protocol for personal injury claims, and the CPR.
- Experience with Proclaim (advantageous but not essential).
- A strong understanding of KPIs such as settlements, billing, and case duration.
- Confidence handling infant approvals and maintaining high-quality work under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and a client-focused approach.
- A self-motivated, organised, and target-driven mindset, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
