The Role
- Joining an established Private Client team based in Coventry
- Managing your own varied caseload of Private Client matters
- Drafting Wills, including trust Wills
- Preparing and registering Lasting Powers of Attorney
- Advising on estate planning and Inheritance Tax matters
- Handling probate and estate administration, including IHT400 accounts and taxable estates
- Dealing with Deeds of Variation
- Making Court of Protection applications
- Managing the financial affairs of clients where the firm acts as Attorney or Deputy
Full secretarial support provided to allow you to focus on fee-earning and client care. Full-time, office-based role with the option of one day working from home following probation.
You
- A Solicitor or Legal Executive with at least three years’ Private Client experience
- Confident running files independently while contributing positively to a team environment
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Able to work calmly under pressure and manage competing deadlines
- Professional, empathetic and confident when dealing with clients
- Comfortable meeting billing targets without compromising on quality
- Proactive, self-motivated and keen to continue developing your expertise
