The Role
- Supporting experienced fee earners and solicitors on a broad range of residential conveyancing matters.
- Assisting with transactions from instruction through to completion and post-completion.
- Preparing legal documentation, correspondence and contract packs.
- Ordering and reviewing property searches.
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and other third parties to ensure matters progress smoothly.
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring files are progressed efficiently.
- Providing day-to-day support across the full conveyancing process.
- Gaining exposure to all aspects of residential property transactions rather than being confined to a single area of the department.
You
- Have at least 1 year's experience within residential conveyancing.
- May currently be working as a Conveyancing Secretary, Legal Assistant or Post Completions Assistant and are looking for greater responsibility.
- Possess strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Are confident communicating with clients and third parties.
- Enjoy working as part of a collaborative team.
- Want to develop your technical knowledge and become a well-rounded conveyancing professional.
