About the Role
We’re seeking a Court of Protection Paralegal to support an expanding team and help continue providing outstanding service to clients who have suffered life-changing injuries. You’ll work closely with the Professional Deputies, Neurotrauma and Personal Injury teams, as well as families, therapists, and other professionals. You’ll play a vital role in improving the lives of vulnerable individuals by providing clear, compassionate, and practical legal support.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting clients with legal and administrative matters, including financial planning and lifestyle support
- Attending clients in hospitals, care homes, or at home
- Drafting court applications, letters, and documents in plain English
- Preparing annual reports for the Office of the Public Guardian
- Making regular payments and maintaining accurate financial records and forecasts
- Assisting with legal advice under supervision
- Instructing professionals to conduct assessments of capacity, care needs, or therapies
- Reviewing financial documentation relating to client investments

Experience requirements:
- Previous experience as a paralegal in any legal discipline is desirable
- Experience in Court of Protection, Serious Injury, Neurotrauma, or Private Client work is an advantage but not essential—full training will be provided
