Job Description

We’re working with a highly regarded, progressive law firm that’s well known for its outstanding work with private clients and rural estates. They’re looking for a proactive and driven Conveyancing Assistant who is keen to build their expertise in a specialist and rewarding area of law.If you have a solid grounding in residential conveyancing and are eager to develop your knowledge, this role offers real scope for growth in a supportive and high-quality legal team.Key Responsibilities:This is a varied and client-focused position supporting senior lawyers on a broad range of property matters, including:

  • Assisting with residential sales and purchases (freehold and leasehold)
  • Managing land registration applications (registered and unregistered titles)
  • Supporting with gifts of property and transfers of beneficial interest
  • Preparing and submitting SDLT returns and associated legal forms
  • Assisting with updates to legal title due to death, trustee changes, or property transfers
  • Identifying where Trust Registration Service submissions are required
  • Handling title amendments, severances of joint tenancy, and address updates
