We’re looking for a Compliance Analyst to join a national law firm expanding its compliance function.
This role suits someone experienced in legal compliance, AML, conflicts, CDD and KYC who enjoys working collaboratively and advancing their career.
- Role
- Conduct conflict of interest checks using specialist conflicts software.
- Review and assess potential conflicts, liaising with fee earners and partners to reach commercial and compliant decisions.
- Review Client Due Diligence (CDD) and Know Your Client (KYC) documentation.
- Ensure compliance with AML regulations, SRA requirements and internal policies.
- Carry out company, sanctions and verification searches using a range of compliance databases.
- Review beneficial ownership structures and advise on more complex CDD requirements.
- Undertake Source of Funds (SOF) and Source of Wealth (SOW) reviews where required.
- Support ongoing AML reviews for existing clients.
- Work closely with lawyers and stakeholders across the business to provide practical compliance guidance.
- Help maintain high standards across client onboarding, risk management and regulatory compliance.
About You
- Previous experience working within a law firm compliance, AML, Risk & Compliance or Business Acceptance team.
- At least 12 months’ experience conducting legal conflicts checks.
- Experience reviewing CDD, KYC and AML documentation.
- Strong analytical and research skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- The ability to communicate confidently with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience using legal compliance systems such as Intapp Conflicts would be advantageous, although not essential.
