The Role
- Become a key member of an established Commercial Property team based in Sutton Coldfield.
- Take responsibility for a diverse portfolio of commercial property matters on behalf of an established client base.
- Advise on the acquisition and disposal of commercial property, including matters involving investors, developers and owner-managed businesses.
- Handle commercial leases, licences, renewals and related property documentation.
- Provide advice on property finance and transactions involving secured lending.
- Deal with more complex and strategic matters including options, pre-emption arrangements and overage provisions.
- Develop strong relationships with existing clients and play an active part in attracting new business.
- Work alongside colleagues across the wider firm to provide clients with joined-up commercial advice.
- Bring your own ideas and experience to the department and help contribute to its continued growth.

You
- A Commercial Property Solicitor with a minimum of 6 years' experience.
- Experienced across a broad range of commercial property transactions.
- Comfortable managing matters independently while knowing when to draw on the expertise of colleagues.
- Commercially aware and capable of translating technical legal advice into practical solutions for clients.
- Confident dealing with a varied client base including developers, investors, landlords, business owners and landowners.
- Naturally relationship-focused, with the ability to establish trust and develop long-term client connections.
- Ambitious and motivated to contribute to business development as well as fee earning.
- Able to identify opportunities to grow existing client relationships and develop new sources of work.
- A strong communicator who can work effectively with clients, colleagues and external professional advisers.
- Interested in taking on greater responsibility and helping to build something rather than simply maintaining the status quo.
