Fantastic opportunity to grow your career with a Legal 500 listed practice and have the chance to continue your career development as a Commercial Litigation Solicitor in Lancashire.

The successful candidate will ideally have a minimum of 4 years' PQE and be comfortable dealing with a broad range of litigation matters, preferably within a strong environment with complex work.

You will be expected to deal with a mix of commercial litigation disputes from:

  • Corporate litigation
  • Partner disputes
  • Shareholder disputes
  • Professional negligence
  • Property disputes

These will be on behalf of both blue chip companies and SMEs. The firm enjoys a superb reputation in the local area and is well established as a key player in Lancashire.

The firm as a whole is made up of 30 staff (including support staff), so although not the largest firm in the area in terms of headcount, they do enjoy a strong presence in the local market and have a regular flow of work coming in from returning clients and from recommendations, word of mouth, and as a result of their general reputation.

The firm adopts quite a relaxed approach to the way it operates and focuses on quality over quantity. They prefer to focus on client satisfaction and results that their clients are happy with rather than trying to bill as much as possible on each matter and setting high targets.

They adopt a very 'grown up' type attitude across the practice and allow their lawyers plenty of autonomy, which they feel creates a happier and more productive firm and allows them to continue to provide a very client-centred service.

If the above role sounds of interest, please get in touch with Nick Skelly at QED Legal or apply ASAP. Salary can be in excess of £50,000 for this position. Any applications will be treated in the strictest of confidence and no details will be forwarded without your express permission.
