A very well-regarded law firm is seeking an experienced Family / Matrimonial Solicitor to take over a caseload following the retirement of a senior fee-earner. This is an opportunity to inherit high-quality work, work with autonomy, and progress towards equity partnership in short order.

The Role:

  • Managing an existing matrimonial caseload left by a retiring solicitor
  • Handling divorce and financial remedy matters
  • Occasional children work, though the focus is firmly on financial aspects
  • Opportunity to grow and further develop the family department

Candidate Requirements:

  • Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales)
  • Ideally 4–5 years’ PQE, though this is flexible
  • Comfortable being the only family fee-earner in the office
  • Strong private-client approach and excellent client care skills
