You will work closely with a team of highly experienced property solicitors and conveyancers, many of whom have backgrounds at well-established and reputable law firms. This role is ideal for a motivated paralegal looking to build on their conveyancing experience, gain hands-on exposure to quality work, and progress their career within a supportive environment.
- Assisting fee earners with a mixed residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion
- Drafting contracts and supporting documentation
- Conducting searches and preparing reports
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and third parties
- Handling post-completion matters, including SDLT submissions and Land Registry applications
- Providing regular client updates and ensuring a high standard of client care
- Supporting the wider property team as required
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1–2 years’ experience within residential conveyancing
- Experience assisting with sales, purchases, freehold, leasehold, remortgages, and transfers of equity
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a busy workload
- Excellent communication and client care skills
- A proactive and team-oriented approach
