An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Residential & Commercial Property Fee Earner to join a well-established and growing law firm in Rotherham. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and capable property professional who enjoys managing a varied caseload and is looking to play an important role in the continued growth and development of an expanding Property department.

You will have the opportunity to work across both Residential and Commercial Property, handling a broad range of matters from initial instruction through to completion. The successful candidate will be trusted to manage their own caseload with a high level of autonomy while delivering an efficient, professional and client-focused service.

The Role

You will manage a varied caseload of Residential and Commercial Property matters, including:

  • Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
  • Commercial property sales and acquisitions
  • Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial leases
  • Acting for both landlords and tenants
  • Remortgages, refinancing and bridging finance
  • Transfers of equity
  • New build matters
  • More complex property transactions
  • Reviewing title documentation, searches and enquiries
  • Dealing with lenders and mortgage requirements
  • Managing matters through exchange, completion and post-completion

You will work closely with clients, estate agents, lenders, solicitors and other third parties throughout the transaction, building strong relationships and ensuring clients receive regular updates and an excellent level of service. You will also play an important part in supporting the continued growth and development of both the Residential and Commercial Property departments.

About You

I am keen to speak with experienced Property Fee Earners who can demonstrate strong experience across both Residential and Commercial Conveyancing. You will be confident managing your own caseload from instruction through to completion with minimal supervision and will be comfortable handling a busy and varied workload. The ideal candidate will be:

  • Experienced in both Residential and Commercial Property matters
  • Confident managing their own caseload independently
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Proactive and commercially minded
  • An excellent communicator with strong client-care skills
  • Able to manage competing priorities effectively
  • Comfortable building and maintaining relationships with clients and referrers
  • Keen to contribute to the continued growth and success of a growing Property team
  • Can be CLC, qualified solicitor, or not qualified for this role
