A Family Solicitor opportunity has arisen to join a long-established, highly regarded and forward-thinking law firm based in Bury, Greater Manchester. This role is suitable for a 1 year PQE Solicitor looking for significant responsibility alongside mentorship, or a more experienced Family Solicitor / Senior Family Solicitor with 10 years' PQE, who could immediately take on a leadership position.
The successful Family Solicitor will handle a predominantly privately funded family law caseload, with a particular emphasis on matrimonial finance and financial remedy work, alongside some private children matters. Your caseload is likely to include:
- Divorce and separation
- Matrimonial finance and financial remedy proceedings
- High-value financial settlements
- Disputes concerning children
- General private family law matters
You should have:
- Qualification as a Solicitor or CILEX Lawyer.
- Experience in Private Family Law.
- Strong experience in matrimonial finance / financial remedy work.
- Some experience of private children matters.
- Excellent client care and communication skills.
- Strong drafting and negotiation abilities.
- A professional and commercially minded approach.
- The ability to manage a caseload with a high degree of autonomy.
- A genuine interest in developing your career and contributing to the wider success of the firm.
