Job Description
I'm currently working with a well-established and growing law firm that is looking for an experienced Solicitor to join its team.
This is a role for someone who wants to take ownership of their own caseload, build strong client relationships and have the opportunity to develop their career within a supportive and professional environment.
You’ll have exposure to a varied caseload within your specialist area, managing matters from start to finish while working closely with clients, colleagues and external organisations. Depending on your area of expertise, there may also be opportunities to get involved in advocacy, complex matters and supporting other departments with specialist queries.
Alongside your own caseload, you’ll have the opportunity to supervise and develop Paralegals, Trainees and junior colleagues, as well as contribute to training and the wider development of the team.
The firm is also keen for its Solicitors to play an active role in business development and networking, building relationships with professional contacts and helping to promote the firm's services.
I'm looking for:
- Qualified Solicitor with a current Practising Certificate
- Minimum 4 years’ post-qualification experience
- Strong experience within your relevant specialist area
- Excellent client care and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Commercially aware, self-motivated and able to work under pressure
- Confident with IT and case management systems
- Experience supervising or developing junior colleagues would be advantageous
If you’re an experienced Solicitor looking for a role with autonomy, varied work and the opportunity to contribute beyond your own caseload, I’d be happy to have a confidential conversation with you.
