Job Description
If you’re an experienced Legal Secretary looking for a role where the work is genuinely varied, the team is established and you’re trusted to get on with the job, this is well worth a look.
QED Legal is working with a highly regarded firm in Bradford that is looking to add an experienced Legal Secretary to its Private Wealth & Succession team.
You’ll be supporting lawyers advising families, trustees, business owners, landowners, executors and beneficiaries on everything from wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney through to trusts, estate administration and private wealth structures.
It is a busy team, but a very people-focused one. A lot of the work involves clients dealing with personal, sensitive or occasionally difficult circumstances, so alongside being organised and accurate, you’ll need to be someone who communicates well and understands the importance of handling people properly.
Day to day, you’ll provide full secretarial and administrative support across the team, preparing and managing documents, keeping matters organised through the case management system, assisting with monthly billing and credit management and helping produce financial information when required.
You’ll need solid legal secretarial experience, strong document management skills and confidence using case management systems. Experience with P4W would be particularly useful.
Private client or private wealth experience would be ideal, but it isn’t necessarily essential. If you’ve worked in an area such as family law where you’re already comfortable dealing with sensitive matters and clients who need a reassuring approach, that could translate very well.
