QED Legal is working with one of Scotland's leading Land & Property teams to recruit an Associate or Senior Associate Renewables Solicitor (4+ PQE) for its Edinburgh office.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Renewables Solicitor looking to take the next step in their career within a highly regarded renewable energy team.
The role offers exposure to some of Scotland's most significant renewable energy projects while providing the opportunity to develop long-term client relationships and build a genuine specialism in the sector.
As a Renewables Solicitor, you'll advise landowners, estates, rural businesses and private clients on a broad range of renewable energy projects, including onshore wind, solar, battery storage and hydro developments.
You'll be involved throughout the lifecycle of renewable energy projects, from option agreements and leases through to development, refinancing, disposals and compulsory purchase matters.
Unlike many renewable energy roles that focus solely on developers, this position offers the opportunity to become a long-term adviser to clients whose renewable energy projects often span many years.
You'll work closely with colleagues across Land & Property, Private Client, Tax, Corporate and Litigation, providing commercially focused advice on complex renewable energy matters.
This Associate / Senior Associate role would suit a solicitor with at least four years' PQE gained in renewables, commercial property, rural property or energy projects.
Experience advising on renewable energy transactions, land development or infrastructure projects would be particularly beneficial, although candidates with a strong commercial property background and an interest in renewable energy are also encouraged to apply.
