Are you an experienced Construction Solicitor looking for a change of scenery?
Representing a non-traditional, well-established law firm in Bristol, I'm looking to speak to Associates and Senior Associates interested in joining a growing Construction Litigation team in Bristol. If you're someone who loves getting stuck into complex construction disputes — whether commercial or personal — and want to manage cases from start to finish, this role might be just your thing. You’ll be handling everything from negotiations and adjudications, to arbitrations and full-blown court cases in the County Courts, High Court, and Technology & Construction Courts.
But it’s not just about managing your own caseload! You’ll also be mentoring and guiding junior team members, sharing your expertise, and helping them develop their construction law knowledge. Think of yourself as both a trusted advisor to clients and a supportive leader to the next generation of legal talent.
I'm looking for professionals with solid experience in construction litigation. If you know your way around the Civil Procedure Rules and pre-action protocols, amazing; if you’ve got a strong grasp of JCT disputes, the Construction Act 1996 and more, even better.
Beyond the legal side of things, you'll be a confident communicator and savvy negotiator. You should be someone who can juggle deadlines, targets, and KPIs without breaking a sweat — all while keeping your clients in the loop with clear, practical advice.
In return, the firm offer a highly competitive benefits package including a generous pension scheme; group income and legal protection; products designed to support your well-being. This includes 26 days holiday + BH (with the option to buy five more); discounted gym memberships; membership in Sports and Social Clubs for exclusive events and outings; MAT leave (20 weeks fully paid) and PAT leave (4 weeks fully paid).
Their newly refurbished city-centre offices are modern and welcoming, and they place immense value on employees and their well-being, offering hybrid working options (40% in office) and the possibility of part-time hours.
