Job Description

A high-quality, 200 year old law firm in Otley are looking to add an 8 + PQE family solicitor with a clear succession plan in mind for this person.

\\nThe role initially involves working alongside the current Head of Department and Partner who also serves as a Deputy District Judge. The ideal person will assist her in managing the team and supporting her, as well as overseeing the two other solicitors in the practice.

\\nDown the line, there is the strong possibility that this person can become the new Head of Family within the firm.  
\\n
\\nThe caseload will be a mixture of private family, divorce, financial remedy, cohabitation agreements and children and the caseload comes from repeat business/legacy clients – there is no legal aid offered.

\\nWhilst you will have been working as a qualified solicitor in family for over 8 years as it is, the learning potential in this role is huge, and is a great opportunity for someone to join a firm with a clear succession plan in place.
