Senior Family Solicitor – Children Law
Location: Manchester / Highly Flexible Hybrid Working - Remote / Part-time Considered
Salary: £50,000 – £80,000 DOE

Senior Family Solicitor | Children Law | Legal 500 Tier 1 An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Family Solicitor specialising in Children Law to join a highly regarded Legal 500 Tier 1 Family Law team.

The Role
You will handle a varied caseload of Children Law matters, including:
- Public and private Children Act proceedings
- Care proceedings
- Child Arrangements Orders
- Prohibited Steps and Specific Issue Orders
- Special Guardianship Orders
- Parental Responsibility matters
- Cases involving domestic abuse and safeguarding
- Urgent and complex children matters
You will manage your own caseload, advise clients, prepare cases for hearings and work alongside other professionals including Cafcass, local authorities and counsel.
About You
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Children Law / Family Solicitor with:
- Experience handling public and/or private Children Law matters.
- Excellent technical, drafting and case management skills.
- Strong client care and communication abilities.
- The confidence to manage complex cases with autonomy.
- A genuine commitment to achieving the best outcomes for children and families.
