An established law firm is looking to appoint a Corporate & Commercial Solicitor with around 3–5 years’ PQE to join its well-established team in Norwich.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded lawyer looking to develop their technical expertise while working closely with a varied client base of owner-managed businesses, SMEs, entrepreneurs and growing companies across East Anglia.
The role
You’ll work across a broad range of corporate and commercial matters, including:
- Share and asset sales and purchases, M&A transactions and management buy-outs.
- Corporate restructures and due diligence.
- Shareholders’ agreements, partnership agreements and other corporate documentation.
- Company law, governance and regulatory matters.
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts, supply agreements and service agreements.
You’ll manage matters from instruction through to completion, build strong client relationships and work collaboratively with colleagues across the wider firm to deliver practical, commercially focused advice.
About you
The firm is looking for someone with solid experience across both corporate and commercial work, including M&A transactions and due diligence. You’ll have strong technical ability, sound commercial judgement and the confidence to manage matters with an appropriate degree of supervision.
You should also be organised, proactive and comfortable managing competing priorities, with excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills. An interest in business development and contributing to the continued growth of the department would be particularly welcome.
