NQ–2 PQE | Established Full-Service Firm | Greater London
I am working with a well-connected, full-service law firm looking to recruit a Commercial Litigation Solicitor at NQ to 2 years' PQE.
The firm has a particularly busy and well-established Litigation Department, offering an excellent opportunity for a junior solicitor to develop their career within a team handling a substantial volume of commercial disputes.
This is a chance to build your experience in a supportive, established environment, gain exposure to a varied range of contentious matters and work alongside experienced litigators within a firm offering a broad range of legal services.
The Role
You’ll be involved in a varied caseload of general commercial litigation, supporting clients through disputes and developing your ability to manage matters from initial instruction through to resolution.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with and managing commercial litigation matters appropriate to your level of experience.
- Drafting pleadings, correspondence, witness statements and other legal documentation.
- Researching legal issues and advising on the merits of claims, litigation risks and potential outcomes.
- Supporting court proceedings and alternative dispute resolution, including mediation.
- Liaising directly with clients, counsel and other professionals.
- Working alongside senior colleagues on more complex disputes, developing your technical knowledge and commercial judgement.
About You
You'll be a qualified Solicitor in England and Wales, ideally with experience in commercial litigation gained during your training contract or post-qualification.
You’ll have strong drafting, analytical and communication skills, a keen eye for detail and a genuine interest in contentious work. You’ll also be proactive, commercially aware and keen to develop your expertise within an established litigation team.
