The Role
- Supporting solicitors and conveyancers with a broad range of residential conveyancing transactions from instruction through to completion
- Opening new matters and ensuring all compliance procedures are completed accurately
- Preparing legal documentation, contracts and correspondence
- Ordering searches and obtaining property-related information
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, brokers and other solicitors
- Providing regular updates to clients and third parties throughout the conveyancing process
- Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence, telephone calls and emails
- Maintaining accurate records using the firm's case management system
- Assisting with exchange of contracts, completions and post-completion matters
- Supporting the team in delivering an efficient and high-quality service
You
- Previous experience working within a residential conveyancing environment
- A solid understanding of the conveyancing process and property transactions
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Professional and confident communication skills
- A proactive and client-focused approach
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and case management systems
