QED Legal is recruiting on behalf of a long-established and highly regarded regional law firm seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join its growing Wills & Probate team. This opportunity would suit an ambitious and client-focused solicitor looking to handle a varied and high-quality private client caseload within a supportive and collaborative environment. The successful candidate will advise clients across a broad range of private client matters, providing clear, practical, and sensitive advice tailored to individual circumstances. Working as part of an established team, you will play an important role in maintaining strong client relationships while contributing to the continued growth and success of the department.
Responsibilities
- Managing a varied caseload of private client matters independently
- Advising on wills, probate, estate administration, and lasting powers of attorney
- Providing practical and empathetic advice to clients
- Building and maintaining long-term client relationships
- Supporting colleagues and contributing positively to the wider team environment
- Ensuring high standards of client care and regulatory compliance throughout
Qualifications
- Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with experience in Private Client work
- Ideally 4+ years’ PQE within Wills & Probate matters
- Strong technical knowledge across wills, probate, estate administration, and LPAs
- Excellent client care and communication skills
- Ability to manage a busy caseload effectively and independently
- Commercially aware with a professional and approachable manner
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Confident IT skills including Microsoft Office systems
