I’m currently working on an exciting opportunity for a Rural Property Solicitor to join a highly regarded commercial law firm in Newcastle City Centre. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established and growing team acting for a diverse range of rural, agricultural and landed estate clients across a broad spectrum of rural property matters.
The successful candidate will:
- Manage their own varied caseload of rural property matters
- Advise on the sale and purchase of farms, land and rural property
- Handle refinancing matters relating to farms and agricultural land
- Advise on farm business tenancies, Agricultural Holdings Act tenancies and easements
- Work closely with an experienced rural property partner on complex matters
- Play an active role in business development and networking initiatives
The ideal candidate will:
- Be a qualified solicitor or experienced fee earner with experience in agricultural/rural property matters
- Have experience handling property transactions involving rural or agricultural land
- Be confident managing their own caseload independently
- Have strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Be commercially minded with a genuine interest in business development
- Ideally have an existing network of contacts or introducers
