A growing, well-regarded law firm in Prestwich is seeking a Residential Conveyancer, Conveyancing Executive, or Property Solicitor to join its expanding team. This is a unique opportunity suited to conveyancers at all levels — from experienced fee earners to senior solicitors — with a clear route to leadership and Partnership for those looking to progress.

The Role:

  • You will handle a manageable residential conveyancing caseload, alongside contributing to the development of the department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction to completion (freehold, leasehold, shared ownership).
  • Potentially managing a team of 3, including a 2-year PQE Solicitor.
  • Ensure smooth progression of files in line with the conveyancing process and compliance requirements.
  • Liaise with clients, agents, lenders, and third parties.
  • Support or oversee workflows across instructions, fee earners, and post-completions.
  • Assist with risk management, compliance, and process improvement.
  • Mentor junior staff and support team development (senior level).

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in residential conveyancing.
  • Ability to manage files independently from start to finish.
  • Strong knowledge of the full conveyancing lifecycle.
  • Excellent communication and client care skills.
  • Previous supervisory experience or ambition to step into leadership (desirable).
