The Opportunity
Working alongside experienced lawyers, you'll gain exposure to a unique mix of Agricultural Property and Private Client work, supporting landowners, farming businesses and high-net-worth individuals with a broad range of legal matters.
Your responsibilities will include
- Assisting with agricultural property and estate planning matters.
- Drafting legal documents and correspondence.
- Handling client enquiries and assisting with new instructions.
- Preparing and submitting Land Registry, Probate Registry and Companies House applications.
- Drafting and submitting SDLT returns.
- Using case management systems to progress matters efficiently.
- Providing wider support across the team where required.
This is a varied role offering excellent exposure to high-quality work and the opportunity to develop your technical skills within a nationally recognised team.
About You
You'll ideally have
- Previous experience working as a Paralegal within a law firm.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- A proactive, can-do attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a busy team.
- A genuine interest in building a long-term career within a specialist legal team.
Experience within Agriculture & Estates is desirable, although applications are equally welcomed from Paralegals with Residential or Commercial Property experience looking to move into this specialist area.
