I'm currently working with a highly regarded regional law firm that is looking to recruit an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join its well-established and successful property team in Newcastle.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious conveyancer looking to join a supportive, forward-thinking firm where you'll have the autonomy to manage your own caseload, backed by an experienced team and excellent administrative support.
The Role You'll manage a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion, delivering a first-class service to clients while helping to develop the department's continued success.
You’ll be supported by
- A dedicated Conveyancing Assistant
- A shared Legal Secretary
- A Post Registration Clerk
- An experienced and collaborative residential property team
- The Work
- Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- Shared ownership transactions
- New build matters
- Transfer of part transactions
- Rural property work
- Properties involving solar panels, septic tanks and other complex title issues
- What They’re Looking For
- Proven experience managing a varied residential conveyancing caseload (around 25 new instructions per month)
- Strong technical knowledge across a wide range of residential property transactions
- Experience using a case management system
- Excellent client care and communication skills
- The ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, referrers and colleagues
- A proactive approach to business development and networking
