QED Legal are excited to have teamed up with a leading North East firm who are looking for a Senior Private Client Lawyer to join their growing team. You will be joining a strong team of 14 people, with 3 existing Partners in the department. This is a unique opportunity for somebody who is keen to progress and who is looking for that next step in their career, whether that be to Partnership.
The Role:
- As a Senior Private Client Solicitor, you will manage a diverse caseload encompassing Wills, estate administration, LPAs, trusts, and estate planning.
- Preparation and drafting of legal documents such as Wills, trusts, LPAs, and associated paperwork.
- Expert guidance to clients throughout probate and estate administration, including drafting legal statements, HMRC forms, deeds, and asset transfer documentation.
- Supervision and support of junior team members.
- Active participation in business development initiatives.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience handling private client matters.
- Profound knowledge of private client law, encompassing wills, trusts, probate, estate planning, tax planning, and asset protection.
- Previous supervisory or training experience is advantageous.
- Ideally, membership in STEP, though not essential.
