Private Family Paralegal | Specialist Family Law Team
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Private Family Paralegal to join a highly regarded specialist Family Law practice with an outstanding reputation for delivering exceptional client service across a broad range of private family matters. The Role:
You will support solicitors on a varied caseload of Private Family Law matters, including:
- Divorce and separation proceedings
- Financial remedy and matrimonial finance matters
- Private children law cases
- Child Arrangements Orders
- Domestic abuse and protective injunction applications
- Cohabitation and relationship disputes
- Pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements
- Cases involving high-net-worth individuals and complex asset structures
Responsibilities will include:
- Assisting fee earners with the management of family law files
- Drafting legal documents, court forms and correspondence
- Liaising with clients, courts, barristers and other professionals
- Preparing hearing bundles and supporting case preparation
- Conducting legal research and administrative case management tasks
- Ensuring exceptional levels of client care throughout the life of a matter
About You:
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience working within a Family Law team as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant.
- A genuine interest in developing a long-term career within Family Law.
- Strong organisational and case management skills.
- Excellent drafting, communication and client care abilities.
- The ability to manage priorities effectively in a busy environment.
- A professional, empathetic and client-focused approach.
- Experience in private family law matters would be advantageous but is not essential.
- A Law Degree, LPC, SQE or equivalent legal qualification.
