An opportunity exists for a Family Fee Earner, Family Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join a large national law firm within its brand-new Family Law department in Manchester. Based in a modern office in the heart of Spinningfields, this offers a chance to play a key role in the development of the department. The firm has an established national presence with offices across the UK and an excellent reputation for high-quality legal services.
You will handle a caseload of privately funded family matters, with a particular focus on high-value divorce and financial remedy work. Many matters involve substantial assets, business interests, pensions, and complex financial arrangements.
Role- Manage your own caseload and assist on all aspects of private family law matters including but not limited to:
- Divorce and separation proceedings
- Financial remedy matters
- High-value financial settlements
- Cohabitation disputes
- Pre-nup and post-nup agreements
- Private children matters
- Client meetings and relationship management
- Court applications and advocacy (where appropriate)
- Business development and networking
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years’ experience handling private family law matters. Applications are welcomed from experienced Family Fee Earners, Solicitors, and Chartered Legal Executives who wish to progress their career within a growing national practice. Strong experience in divorce and financial remedy work is advantageous.
