A highly regarded full service firm in North West London is looking to welcome a talented Private Client Solicitor into its growing team. The RoleYou will join a close knit Private Client team and work closely with experienced colleagues on a broad range of matters. The role offers exposure to high quality work and the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the development of the department. Your work will include:
- Drafting wills
- More complex estate planning matters
- Advising on and preparing lasting powers of attorney
- Assisting with trust creation and administration
- Handling probate and estate administration, including taxable estates
- Supporting asset protection and succession planning for business owners and high net worth individuals
Alongside your technical work, you will be encouraged to get involved in business development activities, build client relationships, and contribute to the growth strategy of the team. There is also scope to support and mentor more junior team members as the department expands.
The CandidateThis role is suited to a solicitor with circa 3 years’ PQE in private client work who is looking to deepen their expertise and take on more responsibility. You will have strong technical knowledge across wills, probate, trusts, and LPAs, along with excellent drafting skills and attention to detail. A confident and professional client manner is essential, as is the ability to build lasting relationships with clients and referrers. You should be proactive, commercially aware, and keen to contribute to a growing team. Experience supporting junior colleagues is advantageous, and a STEP qualification or progress towards one would be beneficial. There is potential for support through the qualification or other desired development.
