We are working with a growing Legal 500 ranked law firm that is recognised for delivering high quality legal services and for its genuine investment in people at every stage of their career. Due to continued success, the firm is now seeking a Family Solicitor to join its established and highly regarded Family team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Family Solicitor with experience in legal aid childcare matters to take on a varied and meaningful caseload within a supportive and collaborative environment. The firm is open on PQE level but is keen to speak with solicitors who have at least a few years' post qualification experience in public law children work. You will manage your own caseload of legal aid childcare matters, including care proceedings and related public law work, while working closely with colleagues across the wider Family team.
As a client facing role, there will also be an element of business development involved. You will be encouraged to build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients and external contacts, contributing to the continued growth and reputation of the department.
You will be a qualified Solicitor with solid experience handling legal aid childcare matters. You will be confident managing your own caseload, empathetic in your approach to clients and comfortable working within a publicly funded environment. You will be a strong communicator, well organised and motivated to develop your career within a firm that offers genuine long term progression and support.
