I’m working with a well-established law firm in Eastbourne that’s looking to bring in a Civil Litigation Lawyer to join their busy and growing team. This is a rare opportunity, created due to continued demand rather than turnover. What’s particularly appealing about this role is the breadth of work on offer. You’ll get exposure to a genuinely varied caseload, making it a great fit for someone who enjoys a mix of litigation matters rather than being siloed into one niche area.
You’ll be joining a thriving litigation team, handling your own caseload across a broad range of civil disputes, including:
- Property disputes
- Landlord and tenant matters
- Commercial disputes
- Employment‑related issues
There’s a strong emphasis on client contact, so you’ll be dealing directly with clients both over the phone and face‑to‑face, building relationships and providing a high level of service throughout.
Who this would suit:
- A qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with 2+ years’ PQE
- Someone with solid experience across civil litigation matters
- Confident communicator with strong client care skills
- Organised, proactive, and detail‑oriented
- Comfortable managing their own caseload independently
- Someone with an interest in networking and business development
What you’ll get in return:
- The chance to handle a genuinely varied and interesting caseload
- A role with real responsibility and client exposure from day one
- Support to develop both technically and commercially
- A collaborative team where people pull together rather than compete
- Opportunities to get involved in business development and networking
- A competitive salary, bonus structure, and benefits package
This is a great option for a Civil Litigation Lawyer who wants to broaden their experience, work closely with clients, and be part of a firm that values both professional development and long‑term progression.
