The Role As a Legal Secretary, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the department.
Responsibilities will include: Providing comprehensive secretarial support to solicitors and legal professionals.
Preparing, formatting and amending legal documents and correspondence.
Audio and copy typing.
Diary management, arranging meetings and coordinating appointments.
Opening, maintaining and closing client files in line with firm procedures.
Liaising with clients and third parties in a professional and courteous manner.
Managing emails, telephone enquiries and general administrative tasks.
Assisting with billing, document management and file administration.
Supporting the team to ensure deadlines are met and an exceptional client service is delivered.
About You To be successful in this role, you will have: Previous experience as a Legal Secretary within a law firm.
Excellent typing and document formatting skills.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a busy workload.
Outstanding attention to detail.
Excellent communication and client care skills.
A proactive approach and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Confidence using Microsoft Office and legal case management systems.
