Legal Cashier – Location: Milton Keynes, Bucks | Salary: Β£28,000 – Β£35,000 + Benefits

About the Role: We’re looking for a Legal Cashier to join a busy and supportive finance team. This role offers the chance to work within a respected law firm where your contribution will directly support the smooth running of the practice.

Responsibilities

  • Processing client and office account transactions (BACs, TTs, cheques, and direct debits)
  • Preparing and distributing daily bank statements to fee earners
  • Reconciling petty cash and other accounts
  • Supporting credit control by producing monthly statements
  • Assisting with purchase ledger work and month-end processes
  • Managing billing and invoice records

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a Legal Cashier or legal accounts role
  • Strong understanding of the Solicitors Accounts Rules
  • Good IT skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Attention to detail and excellent organisational ability
  • A proactive, team-oriented approach with the ability to work to deadline
