Legal Cashier β Location: Milton Keynes, Bucks | Salary: Β£28,000 – Β£35,000 + Benefits
About the Role: Weβre looking for a Legal Cashier to join a busy and supportive finance team. This role offers the chance to work within a respected law firm where your contribution will directly support the smooth running of the practice.
Responsibilities
- Processing client and office account transactions (BACs, TTs, cheques, and direct debits)
- Preparing and distributing daily bank statements to fee earners
- Reconciling petty cash and other accounts
- Supporting credit control by producing monthly statements
- Assisting with purchase ledger work and month-end processes
- Managing billing and invoice records
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a Legal Cashier or legal accounts role
- Strong understanding of the Solicitors Accounts Rules
- Good IT skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Attention to detail and excellent organisational ability
- A proactive, team-oriented approach with the ability to work to deadline
