A busy and expanding Crime team in Leeds is seeking a Criminal Law Paralegal to join on a permanent, full-time basis. This is a great opportunity for someone with a genuine interest in criminal law who is looking to develop their career within a supportive and well-established team.

Overview

  • Supporting fee earners on criminal matters
  • Providing a high standard of client care
  • Managing files via a case management system, including drafting correspondence
  • Completing public funding applications
  • Preparing, collating and redacting court bundles
  • Liaising with Courts, Police, local authorities, medical professionals and experts

Qualifications

  • Have completed or be undertaking legal studies (LPC/BPC, SQE prep or equivalent)
  • Demonstrate a clear interest in Criminal Law
  • Hold Police Station Accreditation (preferred)
  • Be highly organised and able to work well under pressure
